Does the mockup look like a particular brand of phone?
No. The phones are generic drawings: a rounded body, a screen, a small camera dot and side buttons. That keeps them free of any maker’s trade dress.

Show an app demo, a Reel or a screen recording playing inside a clean, generic phone, on a background of your choice.
To make a phone mockup video, open the clip above. This page starts on Phone, black with Shape at 9:16, so a vertical recording fills the handset’s rounded screen, complete with a small camera dot and side buttons, on a soft grey-blue backdrop. Press Export video and you have a moving mockup ready for a slide, a landing page or a post.
The phone is drawn in simple shapes rather than copied from any real model, so it reads as “a phone” without carrying another company’s design. Give it a landscape clip and the handset turns on its side to match. Six phones sit in the Devices category alongside two tablets and a smartwatch; for desktop footage, the laptop and TV mockups do the same job.
Drop in a screen recording or any clip. The page opens with Phone, black at 9:16, the shape of a phone held upright.
In All looks, open Devices and try Phone, white, Graphite phone, Blue phone, Rose phone or Phone on black.
Change what is behind the phone with Border colour, or with From and To on a gradient backdrop. Frame thickness makes the bezel finer or chunkier.
Press Export video and save it. WebM is offered under Format where the browser can encode it, for pages that prefer it.
The handset follows the clip. A tall recording from a phone sits upright, and 9:16 leaves an even margin round it. A widescreen clip lays the phone on its side, which suits a game capture or a landscape video shown “as on a phone”. If you choose a phone while Shape is set to something else, a “Made for 9:16: use it” button appears to switch back in one tap.
For a feed post, 4:5 or 1:1 shrink the space round the phone so it looks larger in the frame. Keep Original if you just want the device and nothing more.
The device body keeps fixed colours, so it always looks like a phone; if you want a different finish, switch to another handset instead. The backdrop is yours to change: a brand colour, a gradient, or a soft blur of the clip under Background in More options.
Tablet and White tablet give a broader screen for slower demos and drawing apps. Smartwatch is made for 1:1 and suits a short loop, such as a notification or a workout screen. All of them are drawn into every frame and saved as an ordinary video file, so nothing needs a special player.
For a bare clip with soft corners instead of a whole device, try rounded corners; to fill a tall frame with a blurred copy of the clip, use the 9:16 tool.

Yes. A landscape clip turns the phone sideways so the screen matches the video, and nothing is cropped.
Not directly; each handset keeps its own colours. Pick a different one, such as Phone, white or Rose phone, and change the backdrop freely.
No. MP4 has no transparency, so the space round the phone is always filled. Choose a colour that matches the page or slide it will sit on.
